In response to our patients' requests, Merritt Acupuncture and Wellness now offers Long-Distance Consulting and Nutritional Therapy. We do this because we understand that our practice is unique in its ability to diagnose and treat many illnesses and diseases, and that it's very difficult to find practitioners in other areas who can do the same work. For that reason, we've created a service that will allow us to offer our nutritional/herbal consultation to anyone. If you know of someone who is dealing with aspects of their health and would like a second opinion on what’s possible, please have them call us. We will be happy to discuss how we can work with them, regardless of distance.

We are also more than willing to work with whatever healthcare practitioners are already being seen – we always work in partnership with other doctors, as we want the best for our patients.

The initial consultation is approximately an hour, after the patient has faxed the symptom questionnaire and office paperwork to us. After shipping the necessary supplements to the patient, we then have several phone consultation over the period of 8 weeks, to check in, answer questions, determine effectiveness, and change dosages. We stay in close contact with the patient, and are always available by email and phone.
