Marlene Merritt
Marlene Merritt has a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine, has been studying Chinese medicine since 1997 and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. A respected educator, she has been on the faculty of Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin since 1998, and a teacher of Anatomy and Physiology since 1992. She also has nearly 2 decades of experience in bodywork and musculoskeletal disorders. An Applied Clinical Nutritionist, she uses her years of experience to affect positive changes and facilitate the healing process with her patients. Her commitment to professionalism combined with her compassion for others are the hallmark of her practice.

Will Mitchell
Will Mitchell has been studying Oriental Medicine since 1998. He has a Bachelors degree in Microbiology, and a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine from the acclaimed Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin, and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. He is also certified in the Japanese style of Toyohari acupuncture, is the President of the Texas Toyohari Association, and is serving as a board member for the Toyohari Association of North America. He has traveled to Japan several times to forward his studies. He is also certified as an Applied Clinical Nutritionist. He is committed to the education of each patient, giving them control over their health, and in supporting them in achieving optimal health, in a professional, yet relaxed, environment.
Background
Their strong backgrounds and understanding in Western medicine have led them to advanced studies in clinical nutrition, blood chemistry, endocrinology, and immunology. They excel in combining the best of all techniques, utilizing cutting-edge medical testing, and place an emphasis on blending Western and Eastern medicine. Their successful merging of different medical modalities has had them lecture throughout the state of Texas and across the United States.
